I started selling Toyota’s in 1994 straight out of college in Gainesville, Fl. It was supposed to be temporary while I got my insurance license, so I could go to work for my father. Fortunately, I was a natural salesperson, and within 6 months I knew that I was going to buy a Toyota dealership. I even told my current owner, that was my mission. Looking back we both chuckle about that meeting. In 2000 I got an opportunity to buy part of the Toyota dealership in Thomasville Georgia, and I jumped at my opportunity. I will always thank Gregg Isaacs for the opportunity. After three years I knew I was ready for the real challenge, and I purchased Brunswick Toyota from the O’steens. Knowing that the community would not see much difference between O’steen and Ostrom, I named it Brunswick Toyota, and my dream had come true.
There were only two jobs left undone; to create a world class automotive company and build a grand building our community can enjoy and be proud of. We are still working on the first mission, and always will be. As for the 2nd, I did a study on the growth of our area to see where a new facility would be best located for the next 20 years and decided that just west of town on I-95 would function best. In 2006 we purchased our new land and began construction on December 4, 2006. This date is ironic because it marked the 6th anniversary of when I purchased into Thomasville Toyota. Construction took exactly 11 months, and we opened on November 5, 2007. We open our hearts and home to all to come and see why we find this to be a magical place.
